Story
After the blistering success of my first ever charity running escapade in the Cancer Research UK Race For Life in Aberystwyth earlier this year, I have decided to lend my efforts to another charity this December. Railway Children work with street children around the world to provide them with food, clothing, shelter, healthcare and education. They protect these children and give them the opportunity to have a better quality of life. To find out more visit http://www.railwaychildren.org.uk/.
On 20 December I will be running 5km round Nantwich town centre with lots of other lovely people - all dressed in santa costumes! It would fabulous to have as much support on the day as possible (I think it will be quite a spectacle!) but if you could donate even a little (spare change, the cost of a morning coffee) it will all go to this hardworking charity and spur me on as well!
I will be back in training imminently (this time in the cold and wet, which is going to require some significant determination) so the more donations the better! You could even donate in someone else's name as a Christmas present.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
