THANK YOU from 'The Muscle' !
Thank you very much for your kind donation. With your help, Charlie, Dave P, John, Mike, Roger, Pete, Stocky and Jerry raised an incredible £11,122 for Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.
The boys all came back safe and well - minus a few toe nails and heals.
We understand that there are lots of worthy charitable causes and we can't thank you enough for choosing to sponsor us in our efforts to raise much need funds for a charity that does such an incredible job.
Those of you watching Wimbledon Ladies Finals may have seen one of the young beneficiaries who was luck enough to toss the coin for serve (Sue Barker is a great and very active Patron of Muscular Dystrophy Campaign)
We are also most grateful for the sponsorship efforts of all at Foster Denovo and are thrilled that they have nominated Muscular Dystrophy Campaign as their charity of choice this year.
Thank you from the very bottom of our hearts :)
The Mont Blanc Team xx
The Muscle
We will set off for the summit of Mont Blanc on June 24. Our aim is to conquer the mountain with the hope that in doing so we can raise funds to enable researchers to find a cure for muscle disease. The researchers have their own mountain to climb so let’s get behind them!
About Muscular Dystrophy Campaign

Lawrie’s Story
Lawrie was diagnosed with Becker Muscular Dystrophy at the age of ten and a half. MD can take many different forms and Becker is mercifully mild. Many dystrophies are incredibly debilitating and some sadly life limiting. Lawrie is able to lead a full and active life of any other 15 year old despite problems with his heart and limbs. He still swims competitively as a classified disability swimmer (s10) and in March was crowned National Champion at 50m Freesyle.
Lawrie is lucky and has a full life, great family and friends – the future is bright. The same can not be said for many others – in particular boys with Duchene MD who are lucky to make the transition into adulthood.
Foster Denovo nominate Muscular Dystrophy Campaign as their charity of 2011
Over the years many partners and employees at Foster Denovo have been unstinting in their support of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign – going to great lengths (Hadrian’s wall) and heights (various mountains in the UK) to raise much needed funds for this charity. The recent financial pressure in all aspects of daily life is taking it’s toll on a practical level in many charities. We are delighted to gain the support of Foster DeNovo in our efforts to raise funds for this hard-working and worthy charity
