... as you can see, I've gotten myself involved in more crazy antics for a good cause. On 22nd June at 9:50am (early rise on a sunday - a feat worth a few bob in itself), I'll be abseiling down the side of Manchester's Town Hall; the extension building on Lloyd Street. I'll probably have a small fit at the top because abseiling has always terrified me, and so your donation will not only be supporting Disability Sports, who enable disabled people to participate in fun and competitive sport; but you'll also be helping me to stop crying every time I launch myself down the side of something quite high (80ft this time). If you plan to be there to watch you'll get an extra bonus as you'll actually get to watch my little wobbly head and disproportionately large bottom wiggle down the side of quite an attractive building (after a small delay while they convince me not to quit), on what will hopefully be a sunny day! This absolutely will not happen if I do not raise enough monies. You have been warned. :- | (stern face). Hopefully this site will make donating a bit easier as it's pretty simple, you click a few buttons, enter a few details and there's no digging around in pockets or behind sofa cushions looking for loose change to hand over. And if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your donation at no cost to you. So to see me throw a wobbly at the top and then wobble down the side, spend a few pennies today and it will be so. Tar muchly!! Love, Hels xxx !!Update: (20/06/08) Thanks to all you super generous people, I have reached my target and beyond! However don't stop there. Disability Sport Events still needs every penny we can garner, so if you still haven't donated, don't be put off, add your two cents too! :oD
