100km Challenge · 19 July 2015

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Hi Everyone,

As most of you may know I am leaving the RAF after over 27 years on 19 July 2015, which just happens to be the 200th day of the year. I wanted to finish my career by doing something significant for charity that covered that period, so what better than a 1000km run/walk challenge - an average of 5km a day should be easy right? Well except that everyone knows my hips are already trashed so running, and even walking, isn't the smartest idea I could have come up with, but hey if it was going to be easy no-one would sponsor me!

So, that's what I am after, your money! I am raising money for Parkinson's in support of my Dad and to provide much needed funds to improve awareness and support future research to try and find a cure. So please will you sponsor me for any amount that you can to support this amazing cause - THANK YOU X
