I came across Stepping Stones Nigeria at the end of last year when I was looking for a charity to support while running the London Marathon. I saw the Channel 4 documentary which you might like to look at if you check their website. It's truly horrifying to see what can happen to such vulnerable children and I decided on the spot I just couldn't walk away and do nothing.

I was initially reluctant to ask for sponsorship with it being such a bad time financially for so many people, but I am particularly keen to ask on behalf of children who have no voice of their own and often have no friends in the world, not even parents to rely on.
