Raising money for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice

Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice offers Specialist Palliative Care to people with a terminal illness in West Surrey and North East Hampshire. We rely on the support of our community as we receive just 12% of our funding from the NHS. We have to raise £15,000 every day to continue serving 140 people a day.

(not as planned October 2009 due to Helen fracturing her ankle but good news trek confirmed for 2010)

We are hoping to raise in excess of the £2,500 for our local hospice (84% of their costs are from charitable donations)

Through donations the Phyllis Tuckwell was able to reopen two beds and the need to raise money to open more and sustain this is vital. It cost 10,000 a day to offer this exceptional standard of care and support
