I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year in memory of my gorgeous daughter, Georgina, who died aged 15 in November 2013. 

This is a big thing for me because (a) I am totally unfit and will have to practise lots, (b) I think this would please Georgina as she liked running and wanted me to be fitter, and (c) I want to raise money to help Cancer Research UK fight this disease which took Georgina away from us.

My participation in this race promises to be an 'interesting'' experience, but I'll do my best, in memory of my girl.
