| Our personal message: |
Hi everyone
We are doing the Regents Park Summer Series 10k Run on 7 June to raise money for the only UK charity working to support people with MSA and their carers.
Our mum died of MSA eleven years ago after a seven year illness. MSA is a neurological disease a bit like MS, but it's so rare that even many medical professionals don't know about it. Its effects are devastating and it's incurable.
The Trust didn't exist when our family was struggling with this awful disease but in the last ten years it has done incredible work. We want to support people going through the experience we all had and to pay tribute to our mum, Susan Coyle, an amazing woman who would have laughed incredulously at the thought of her two laybaout kids running anywhere.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Sarah Matheson Trust for Multiple System Atrophy will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
If you fancy joining us on the day, we'd be glad to have team-mates. The charity survives thanks to donations from members and sponsorship like this, it has no other funding whatsoever. We'll be having a party at ours after the run to celebrate and you're all welcome to come.
Thanks very much for your support. Helen and Richard
