Story
Hi everyone!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page! This summer I will be travelling to Kisumu in southwest Kenya to work with the Kenyan Orphan Project.
KOP was started in 2001 by medical students from Nottingham University with the vision to fight against poverty, disease, social exclusion and injustice and to help improve the lives of orphans and vulnerable children in Kenya.
Funds raised by the KOP students from King's College London this year will allow the provision of two meals a day at weekends for 100 street children. Funds raised will also pay for school fees for 15 street children in primary education, 10 in secondary and vocational training for a further 10 children. All money raised on this page will go straight to these projects.
I will be travelling to Kenya for 2 weeks to participate in the various projects that KOP are involved in. This will be based around '3 modules', which involve helping provide meals for street children, assisting and teaching in a children's centre and helping to build a primary school.
These are all great projects which KOP support and your money could really make an impact on children's lives. In order to go to Kenya I need to fundraise for the charity so any money you could spare would be of great help to me and the invaluable to the children of Kisumu.

Thank you.
