Story
Well now the deed has been done. I completed in 4 hrs, 23 mins and 10 secs. Plus a personal challenge to myself to run the distance, not speed walk or even just take a breather and walk a short way - I completed the distance by RUNNING.
Thanks for all the support so far, however I still need more ......
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
I'm back running after my 'little accident', all fit and well with no obvious niggles or pain. The photo here shows me at the end of the 2006 London Marathon and I hope to add a 2008 medal.
I have decided to run for a charity which I feel we will all benefit from - who doesn't enjoy the sight of a wild flower meadow on a warm summers afternoon. Unfortunately though, some of the sights and benefits from these wildflowers which are often lesser known or seen will disappear forever unless help is given.
