On 07 November 2009, I trekked the Lares Trail in Peru and I have chosen NDCS for my charity, as my 2 nephews are both deaf.
I aim to raise a minimum of £3,649.00 to support the work of NDCS to improve the lives of deaf children all over the country, and in particular the Worcester Deaf Children's Society with which my 2 nephews are involved.
I am going to be trekking gruelling climbs up to 4490m, so I need to get myself into good shape... no more chocolate or crisps for me!!! I will start training very soon - Brecon Beacons here I come!
I am planning to organise various events in the future (including possibly shaving my hair off, a quiz night, another Summer Salsa Dance evening on 11 September, a constant sweepstake and many more) to help boost my funds but in the meantime I would be very grateful if you could sponsor me, this is in aid of a very good cause.
