Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I can confirm that I am now home safely and managed to complete it in 98hrs. We were lucky with the weather although clear blue skies and 30+ degree temperatures made climbing the mountains hot work!

I think I had a mad moment when I decided to do this ride; especially after reading the bit "this is one of those 'do before you die' events" but hey ho, how hard can it be!!  So 718 km in 100hrs (4 and a bit days!) across the Pyrenees, 18 major mountain climbs,  including such Tour legends as the Peyresourde (1569m), Aubisque (1709m) and Tourmalet, which stands at a whopping 2115m above sea level!!  I saw it as a great way to get fit and have a challenge (just a bit!) and hopefully raise some money for a very good cause.

I intend to cover the majority of costs of doing the event myself so that your donations actually go to Fairbridge.
