EVENT - SPONSORED WAG WALK - I'M NOT FIT ENOUGH TO DO THE LONDON MARATHON!!!

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I'm sure most of you know that I have been a volunteer at the Bath Cats and Dogs Home for some time now and thoroughly enjoy being a 'Volunteer Cat Cuddler'.  I also have fun dog walking when I have a bit of extra time and I am taking part in the Sponsored Wag Walk on 26th April.  I hope to take one of the many gorgeous dogs from the Home on a 6 mile walk through fields and woods, following the Bath Skyline Walk and raise much needed funds for the many dogs, cats and small animals that it cares for until it finds each animal a loving home, regardless of how long this may take.  

Bath Cats and Dogs Home is one of the largest animal re-homing centres in the country, caring for over 350 animals at any one time at a cost of over £3,000 a day, and operates a strict non-destrcution policy.  The Home does not receive any funding from the government, lottery or RSPCA  to help with the £1.1 million annual running costs, and so relies entirely on voluntary donations and gifts in wills.

Would you therefore help this most worthy cause by sponsoring me on the walk?   The Home gives so much to animals in need, who through no fault of their own find themselves dependent on the care of staff and volunteers until their new 'loving forever home' is found.
