I have decided to run the London Marathon in 2012!

I know... bit of a shocker, especially since this time last year in a post-uni haze I couldn't even make it to the biscuit tin without getting out of breath! I started running in September 2010 and at the beginning of this year I decided that I wanted to use my newfound love of fitness to do something good. Oasis is committed to offering life changing services to young people, families and communities across the UK and internationally. I have been completely inspired by their work which includes providing healthcare, housing, education and employment and working alongside people to help them transform their lives and the community around them.

In the light of the recent riots throughout the UK I strongly believe that supporting the work of Oasis will help to build stronger communities and prevent such situations from arising in future. Furthermore, government cuts have had a huge impact on the charity so Oasis need more support than ever before.
