Helen Weetman (Old Aloysian 1994-2000) is running the London Marathon for Jesuit Missions and is looking for sponsors to reach the fundraising target of £2000!

As a former pupil of St. Aloysius' College and a current member of St. Aloysius' Church Choir Glasgow, I have quite an affiliation to the Jesuit Community and could think of no better charity to run for than the Jesuit Missions.

The Jesuit Missions seek to spearhead fundraising initiatives, provide logistical support and raise awareness of the plight of people in developing countries. This year the Missions' London Marathon Appeal will be going towards projects in Guyana, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Zambia. By sponsoring me to run the 26 miles of marathon you will be helping people in these countries, where the Jesuit Missions help is needed the most.
