Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.
Matthew and I created the Lenny Trusler Children's Foundation in 2007 after the death of our baby son from a very rare kidney disease. The charity will never make up for the loss of our first child but it has given us enormous comfort to see that his name is living on.
This year we decided to host a Gala Concert at Cadogan Hall on 1 December with some of our very favourite artists and repertoire, in order to raise money for an life-saving incubator for the Whittington Hospital in London where Lenny was born. Buying an incubator has been my big dream since we've started the charity but I never had the courage to attempt such a big challenge.
After an overwhelmingly positive response to take part in this concert from our friends Michael McIntyre, Tom Conti, the Belcea Quartet, Natalie Clein, Bertrand Chamayou, Ashley Wass, Martin Roscoe, Peter Donohoe, Michael Collins, the Solstice Quartet and Graham Mitchell (not to mention all those who help us behind the scenes) we felt very inspired. BUT, now we need your help to reach our fundraising goal of £30.000!
There are four ways to do so:
1. (the boring but very effective option) Donate on this page with a credit card (it's safe and very easy!)
2. (the more sociable and entertaining option) Buy a ticket and come to the concert, or invite anyone you know to do so! (Click here to buy a ticket)
3. (the more active and tense option) Take part in our auction (Click here to see and bid for auction items)
4. (the incredibly motivated and inspired option) Start your own justgiving fundraising page and choose the Lenny Trusler Children's Foundation as your charity. All you lovely people who have already considered to do a marathon or a mountain climb, now there's nothing to stop you!!
Thank you very much in advance!
