In November I will be travelling with Lucy to Dharamsala ,Himachal Pradesh, Northern India.

I got in touch with Anna from the charity Tong-len, who works with displaced communities in the area.  ( http://www.tong-len.org/ ) 

Tong-Len provides assistance to the residents of the Charan slum, and amongst other things they offer education to children - with a preference to those with the greatest need - priority is given to orphans or those who have very little family support.

Tong-len sponsors children to be educated, clothed, provided with meals and other basics.

At the moment there are two children in particular who need a new sponsor, so any money you can offer will be used to support them in their education and used to build a hostel wich will inturn allow more children access to this programme.
