This is our first ever attempt at any fund raising event. Why are we doing it? I have lost two dear friends to cancer in the last few months. My wife has just lost an Uncle to cancer. I know what a fantastic difference Macmillan Cancer Relief made to the lives of those people and also to their families. With 720 new cases diagnosed every day and 4 in 10 people suffering from cancer at some time in their life, Macmillan needs all the help they can get. We want to do all we can to help keep those doors open. We plan to raise £10,000 in the next ten months. With your generous help I know that we can do it. Please help us to help those who need it most, our friends, neighbours and loved ones who are suffering the effects of this dreadful disease.

You can make a difference and every penny helps. Obviously the more pennies you give the better! By donating through this site, as a uk tax payer your donation will go even further.

This will be a huge challenge to us, but not as huge as the challenge facing those who are and who will be suffering. Please help.
