Every week in the UK, around two families are told their child has neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. We fund leading research projects to deliver new, effective and kinder treatments for children with neuroblastoma. With your help we can save more young lives.

Story

I'm raising money to help develop treatments for children with cancer, in particular www.neuroblastoma.org.uk . Speaking from personal experience life is never quite the same again after you first visit a paediatric oncology unit.

To kick off the fund raising activities WAY Fund Peddlers will be riding 2 cycle sportives in June and October 2011. Our team consists of myself, Trevor Chanter and Peter Atkins. Further event details can be found at http://www.cyclegb.co.uk/ and http://www.ukcyclingevents.co.uk/events/new-forest-100-sportive/ . The Newbury event in June is a warm up for the main challenge of 100 miles through the New Forest in October. These events will be a significant challenge for the team but we hope our efforts will raise both money and awareness for childhood cancer.

NEW FOREST UPDATE - on probably the hottest day of the year we rode the 100 miles to comfortably finish within the alloted time. Many thanks to all those who have supported the cause, let's hope that one day no kids will have to fight cancer. Watch this space for my next challenge in 2012.

Thanks, Rob xxxx .

NEWBURY UPDATE - an injured Trevor was unable to ride but I am pleased to say that despite monsoon conditions Peter and I got round in just over 4 hours. We're now training hard for October.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
