Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are students from La Swap 6th form who have been given a life changing opportunity to work alongside ‘The Great Generation’ to help people living in a village in Uganda. If we are able to reach our target of £1200 we will be able to visit a village in Uganda and use the money raised to increase their quality of life. The main project which we will be supporting is the building of a new library for the local community. The children living in Uganda are eager to learn and only need the resources in order to do this. We are also going to be given the chance to teach english lessons to the children, build a compost heap, a water trap and teach the people the best way to grow their crops. All of the work that we will do in Uganda is a life changing experience for both our team at La Swap and the village in Uganda. If you want to make a difference to the lives of people living in Uganda please give all you can.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
