On May 16th & 17th I'll be cycling 180 miles to raise money for "Get A Head" in memory of a colleague Mel Jaggard who sadly passed away last year.

I'll be cycling with a number of Unilever colleagues to Mel's hometown in South Wales. The challenge includes a second day of 100 miles and a total ascent of 1800m.

I'm not the biggest fans of hills and I will be pushing myself to the limits.

Get A Head will ring fence all donations made to help fund a 3 year research programme into ACC (Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma) – the cancer that Mel fought.  This project costs £90,000 over the 3 years so our contribution will make a massive difference.  

The team have met a current sufferer of ACC and she is blown away by the ambition.   She will benefit directly into the research of this rare and (currently) incurable form of cancer.

So please help make a difference and lets hits Cancer where it hurts.....by finding a cure.
