Hello again lovely people,

Thank you all so much for all your sponsorship and support. On the 25/04/10 I ran, jogged, walked and crawled round the London Marathon in 4 hours and 14 minutes. The race strategy wasn't quite as successful as the rehydration strategy, employed after, but who wouldn't be happy with 14,486 th place!

It was a great day and one I'd recommend to anyone that never needs to use a staircase again.
Makes you proud to be a Londoner, (even if you're really a paddy)

First Touch are currently raising funds to purchase 20 specialist cots, and together we have managed to raise enough money to buy one and a half of them so a massive thank you for that.

Cheers, Henry

P.S. If anyone fancies adding a bit more money perhaps we can by two cots, the page will stay open for a while!

Hello wonderful potential sponsor and welcome to my mid-life crisis.
No sports car or mistress for me - On the 25th of April I'll be lining up at the start of the 2010 London Marathon for First Touch - a local Charity setup and run by three marvellous Mums from Eddie and Maisie's school. First Touch - is named after one of those Mum's recollections of the long wait to have a first cuddle with her precious son at the Neonatal Unit at St George's - which cares for some of the sickest and tiniest babies in London and the South East.
First Touch supports the Neonatal Unit at St George's Hospital, Tooting which cares for over 500 sick and premature babies every year. The charity raises money to purchase vital equipment - incubators, ventilators, critical care monitors. They fund specialist nurse development and offer support to families while they are on the unit - through their welfare fund. Thanks to the specialist equipment, dedicated staff and fighting spirit of the babies, the unit is a positive place. However, they never forget the precious babies who are sadly too ill to survive and do not make it home.
