Hello! Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. On Sunday 12th July I will putting on some traininers and running the London 10k for a small London charity called the Daneford Trust.
The Daneford Trust helps young people organise Overseas Volunteer Placements in schools and institutions to experience life in other parts of the world as well as lending their own expertise and enthusiasm. Crucially, the Daneford Trust helps with individual fundraising which means that most volunteers do not require any capital to go on placements, thus allowing those who would otherwise be unable to travel to do so. Many young people, including myself, have benefited greatly from the help of the Daneford Trust.
I am personally working with the Daneford Trust as they are helping me to organise a placement in Guyana for six months from this October. Please note that I am doing this for the Daneford Trust itself - none of this money will go to my project. Please give generously!
As the Daneford Trust is generally supported by independent donors, the current financial climate has had a significant effect, and there is a constant struggle to cover running costs. Every penny counts-even if it is only a small amount please give something to help the Daneford Trust.
