As many of you will know, my twin sister died of cot-death whilst still a baby.  Continuing on from my earlier fundraising effort (the Ashford to Athens bike ride) I have decided to run the marathon. 

For the last two years I have watched the marathon with a mix of admiration and envy but at last I am going to be part of it.  Despite not really being built for long distance running I hope that my training will allow me to finish in about 3 hrs 40 mins. But we'll see!
