Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Surrey Care Trust gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. So please sponsor us now! For any of you who know Jon at all you will know that he has barely ridden a bike properly in many a year and has only just (Sunday) bought his own bike...this is going to be very interesting people and a challenge. Mark is also doing the London to Brighton ride a week earlier (mug) so for both it will be very tough and as both are notoriously prone to injury this is going to be huge for both to complete...however, determination and the right motivation is there and the lads will not be deterred!!! Thank you all...this is a very very very worthy cause and your sponsorship is immensely appreciated! A bit of info about Surrey Care Trust... We believe in education with a difference because we see the difference it makes The Surrey Care Trust is passionate about innovative and alternative approaches to education because we see the potential that learning new skills has to change lives. We provide opportunities for people of all ages who have limited skills and poor qualifications to transform their prospects and aspirations through our innovative programmes and training courses. We also nurture the abilities, ambitions and self-confidence of under-achieving young people who find it hard to fit into mainstream school and who could face a whole lifetime of disadvantage without a second chance to develop their talents and abilities.
