In May 2005, 16 idiots took to the field, dressed as Smurfs and Garden Gnomes, to battle out a football match all in the name of charity, mate.

Well, the match was thought up first - playing the game in aid of charity came after, in an attempt to justify the stupidity of what we were doing :-) Anyway, such was the success of this game, that we've decided to do it all again.

So, on Sunday 29th October 2006 at 12:30pm, 22 Super Heroes and Villains (because villains like to raise money for charity too, when they're not busy trying to take over the world and stuff) will take to the field at Woodford Park in Woodley to participate in what is sure to be an epic encounter. If you know anyone who's taking part, please feel free to come along and watch!
