Story

Welcome to the fundraising page for HFM's 24 Hour Radio Marathon in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The 24 Hour Radio Marathon will start at 10.00 am on Saturday 24th May and run through until 10.00 am on Sunday 25th May 2008.

Check out details on the HFM website at http://www.harboroughfm.co.uk/events/index.htm#radiomarathon
for other other events taking place over that weekend to boost the fundraising effort.

The event is the the brainchild of Thom Costall & Rob Maltman of the MAP show (Modern Alternative Programme - Mondays 10.00 pm to midnight).
Also taking part will be the daytime presenter Dave Irving (of the "Brekkie Show" 7.00am to 10.00am) & Ian Fraser of the SRD Rock Radio Show (Thursdays 10.00pm to midnight)

Together they will be broadcasting continuously for 24 hours and getting sponsored at the same time,
not forgetting all the other volunteers who will be helping out at various times during the day.
