It's a startling fact that during our lifetimes, one in every three of us will be affected by cancer in one way or another. For me it was in August 2003, when my Aunt passed away following a long battle with cancer.
As some of you may know in April 2004, I took part in the London Flora Marathon, and thanks to your kindness, raised £2000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. This year, I have decided to do the same with the only difference being that I will be running the gruelling 26.2 miles in the Big Apple. Therefore, I once again call upon your generosity to sponsor me, all proceeds going to this formidable charity.
