Thanks for all the donations and congratulations. I finished 276th of 416 finishers with a time of 12:30:09 (there were 550 entrants I think) considerably tougher than anticipated so.very please to.have made it to Tyndrum.

Reduced mileage this week but with a half marathon in Edinburgh before the Big one im in good shape so far

After a couple of weeks fighting off a cold i managed 30miles out and back on WHW. Very tough but valuable lesson learnt on pacing.

50k in a little over 5hours last Friday. Some enforced rest as I've come down with a cold

Successful long run with some tough hill work. Short on plan at 27.5miles

Perfect day for a fast 10k!

First Marathon distance run of 2013. 4hr 11min out and back on Clyde Canal with snow increasing from nil to 2inches at the halfway point. Took a tumble after 37K but fortunately stretched it out and got running again.

First long run on the WHW this morning. Set off from Anniesland at 0515 for 18K out and back. Very technical in the dark with lots of patches of ice but easier on the way back. 6min26/K

A pretty good 10I tonight with the last k being the fastest. Listened to interview with ultralegend Mimi Anderson who ran a double badwater!
