We fund life-changing and life-saving work to support cancer patients at The Christie

Story

Hello

On 30th April I finished an 11 day walk of over 170 miles from Glasgow to Inverness to raise money for Christie's Against Cancer. The weather was "interesting" but it was still a great experience and although the joints are a bit sore I managed to avoid blisters, well apart from one but that's another story.

Alan Stubbs, the Everton defender, who himself recovered from cancer a few years ago has lent his support to the project. That's him pictured with me outside Everton's Bellefield Training Ground.

Please dig deep and sponsor me to help raise much needed funds for this invaluable organisation. Sponsorship via this website is the most efficient way for me to raise money and every single penny really helps. Please give as much as you can as we are trying to reach a target of £ 5,000.

If you are a UK taxpayer your donation will be increased by almost a third at no cost to you.

However, if you would like to donate funds by cheque or cash then please contact Karen Shrimpton at: Everton Football Club Goodison Park Liverpool L4 4EL Merseyside UK or on the following email address: karen.shrimpton@evertonfc.com Many thanks for your support and interest Steve Etheridge
