On May 11th 2009, itself an aniversary, but also marking leaving a career in shipping after 36 years, Gavin Smith, sets out to walk solo the 180 mile Offas Dyke footpath from South to North - http://www.offasdyke.demon.co.uk - to raise funds in aid of Addenbrookes Charitable Trust (ACT)
