This Summer BLG LLP in partnership with Aspen insurance are supporting the ISIS Foundation. They work through local NGO’s and focus on those kids most in need, "forgotten people in forgotten places".
In support of this initiative a team of Solicitors from BLG LLP and the UK Liability Team from Aspen will be doing a sponsored climb up Mount Snowdon, all 3,650 feet, on the 13th June 2008. Half of the team we would consider as experienced walkers and the other half may have to get the train back down the mountain!
We are aiming to specifically raise enough money for medication for 2008/ 09 in the Neo natal ward for the benefit of Mums and their newborn babies. The ward is part of the vital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Kiwoko, a small village three hours north of the capital of Uganda, Kampala.
