I still can't associate the words 'fun' and 'run' but progress of sorts - my personal aims a) run whole course b) don't come last - look slighly less unrealistic. I've even splashed out on a new pair of trainers at Lidl.
Thank you to everyone who's sponsored me to date - it (kind of) makes the agony worthwhile. Let's face it, there are some bodies made for running and others for lounging on sofas. Roll on 13 July.
Inspired by those running marathons and doing other great deeds for Tourettes Action, I have decided to join them.
I am running 5k on 12 July. For some, this would be a warm up. For me it's a whole new level - from horizontal to upright, for a start.
