The Three Peaks Challenge September · 22 September 2007 ·

We’re the National Deaf Children’s Society. We're the charity for deaf children with any level of hearing loss. Whatever the question or challenge, we’ll help find a way through. We believe in a world where anything is possible for deaf children.

Story

Well, we did it! 23Hrs and 58 mins was our final time, but what a fantastic, albeit slightly painful experience it was.

A huge thank-you to all our sponsors! Be assured your money was hard earnt, and will benefit loads of deaf children. In total the event raised approx £65,000!!!

Another huge thank-you is to our support crew of Jon Young, Anna Dickenson, and Karen Blackman who kept us fed, watered, and did all the driving. (The bacon rolls after Scafell could have been sent from heaven!)

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Our Challenge is to climb the three highest mountains in the UK in 24 hours.

Ben Nevis @ 1344 metres

Scafell Pike @ 978 metres

Snowdon @ 1085 metres

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The National Deaf Children's Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

Julian, Dom, James, Duncan, Jodi, Iain, & Mark.
