Thank you for visiting our marathon sponsorship webpage. On 26th April 2009 Chris Browne is going to run the Flora London Marathon. This will be the 10th marathon that he will have run for United Response.

Chris has worked forUnited Response for 11 years so he has directly seen what great work this charity does. United Response supports approximately 1,500 people with learning disabilities and mental health needs throughout the  . We believe that everybody should live the fullest possible life, whatever their disability, and we help people to take control of their lives. We recognise that everyone is different and we work with each individual to provide the support that they need– whether 24-hour care or helping them find a job.

This year Chris is raising funds for a service in Hillingdon. United Response have a new service theer that supports people with low to moderate levels of vulnerability. The service will be a ‘hub’ from which people will be facilitated to access community services and activities. It will provide information and advice, a meeting place, user led initiatives and opportunities for new and existing partners to run programmes and groups.

We are trying to raise as much money as possible for this service in Hillingdon. Please dig deep into your pockets and help me make this possible by donating through this simple, fast and totally secure site. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: United Response will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.

Maggie Narbeth and Chris Browne.
