Midnight Walk up date ....... 22 06 08

I am delighted to report that all four of the Hilltop Belles completed the 13 mile walk from Hemel Hempstead to Berkhamsted and back again.  We set off at 12.15 am and after 4 hours of stoic walking - despite the rain that hurled itself down periodically just to add to our enjoyment - we finally sat down with a hot cup of tea and bacon butty before heading for home and bed.   There were around 1300 hundred pink ladies walking with the stars and to date the  total sum raised is circa  £179,000.00.   Thank you once again for your support and for sponsoring us.   Sara, Chris, Janis and Judy. 

Here are just a few examples of how the money you have helped us raise may help the Hospice:

£50.00 will buy selected books for children affected by bereavement

£105.00 will pay for a full day's nursing costs in the Inpatient Unit

£300.00 will pay for a month of home care visits by Specialist Nurses

£1000.00 will pay for a week of one nurse's care in the Inpatient Unit
