UPDATED - 7th JULY
We did it !! Despite the 4 hour flight delay, torrential rain at the base of Ben Nevis, sleep deprivation, fog, cramp and endless pot noodles, we completed the 3 peaks challenge in 28 hours and 30 minutes.
Including the gift aid reclaim, we have raised over £6020 for charity.
Well done to the Volpi family for guessing the closest time with a guess of 28 hours and 22 minutes.
Thank-you to everyone who pledged their support financially, thank you for the good luck messages and thank you to our support team who did all the driving, tea making and helped keep us motivated.
It was not easy but we are all proud of this achievement. Will this become an annual charity event?.......watch this space !!

The challenge on 24th June was to walk the three highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis – 1344m), England (Scafell Pike – 978m) and Wales (Snowdon – 1085m) within a 24/36 hour period. (approximately 25 miles in total!). The time also included driving from Ben Nevis to Scafell Pike and onto Snowdon. (approximately 500 miles).
