We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

Thank you for visiting the HiT Entertainment fundraising page.

Our team consists of Jo Adamson, Paul Beaumont, David Brown, Nicky Ellingford, Jo Fricker, Darran Garnham, James Gillard, Alison Green, Philip Ranger, James Thackwell and Thekla Orfanos

We are running 26.2 miles in the 2009 Flora London Marathon on behalf of JDRF, the chosen charity for PINGU to help find the cure for type 1 (juvenile) diabetes.  Type 1 diabetes is a chronic, life threatening condition which has a life-long impact on those diagnosed with it.  JDRF is the world's leading funder of type 1 diabetes reseach and the only charity dedicated solely to finding the cure.

None of us have done anything like this before, it's going to be tough going and we have quite a tough sponsorship target to reach so please dig deep and sponsor us online. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor the HiT Runners; JDRF will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Please feel free to forward this to anyone who may be able to help us in our challenge.

Thank you for your support, it really is much appreciated.
