Cycle Ride From Oxford to Cambridge · 27 September 2009

Plan International UK is a global children’s charity working to create lasting equality for girls and protect the rights of all children. Plan International works with communities in over 50 countries across the world to tackle the root causes of exclusion and injustice for all children.

Story

On Sunday 27th September an intrepid, multinational team of Harvey Nash cyclists will be setting out on an epic 90 mile / 145 km treck, riding between the UK university towns of Oxford and Cambridge.

The race will be one of pure endurance and will involve anything up to 8 hours cycling, the consumption of 4000 calories and 40,000 revolutions of the pedals! No small task

But it’s for a good cause: Plan International is a charity working in 48 developing countries to promote child rights and lift millions of children out of poverty. To find out more about their great work take a look to the left for more information about this charity...

A note about this website: JustGiving is a charity donation website - Harvey Nash has used it many times before because it's simple and secure. You can make donations from any country using a credit / debit card, but for UK residents it is particularly attractive because it is adds a 20% tax refund to your donation. JustGiving's fee is 5% of the total transaction. Transactions are in pound sterling.
