In the Winter-Spring of 2008, a group of Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Vietnamese students travelled to Hoi An in Vietnam to study psychology and deveopmental studies. During our stay there, we started to visit the Hoi An orphanage on a regular basis, getting to know the wonderful children who are living there.
Working at the orphanage is a wonderful English charity called the Kianh Foundation. They are behind most of the good changes at the orphanage the last years, and it's basically them who have developed specialized programmes for the 25 children with disabilites.
Visiting the orphanage and the children there touched us so much that we were moved to make some kind of difference. A part of this is to ask you, our friends and family back home, to make a small contribution to Kianh Foundation's good work and thus make the lives of the children at the orphanage much better. Whatever donation you decide to give, small or big, remember that every single pound counts. For as little as £50 you can pay for the children's medicines for one month. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor the children at the orphanage.
Many thanks for your support! Sincerely, Olga, Kaja, Åshild, Anniken, Kristine, Lone, Sandra, Marte, Lovise, Annicken, Pia, Helle, Ellen, Gina, Solfrid, Hilde, Karoline, Elfrid, Maren, Heidi, Ailan, Angelika, Julie, Marianne, Anna, Kristoffer, Andreas, David and Helene.
