When I first mentioned taking part in the Race for Life, Holly said why? we don't know anyone who has cancer,  she was shocked when I said that 3 out of 4 grandparents have/had been affected. But are thankfully are still with us today.

We are taking place in the Race for Life 10k. I know many of you may think this is easy for me but believe me, getting your 12 year old daughter out running twice a week is no easy task. So far in preparation she has stolen Aunty Julie's running trainers, my one and only Nike T-shirt (because she still has to look good) and managed 2 x 2 mile runs, and she's still eager to keep going. Holly choose to do the 10k as opposed to 5 as she walks 5k daily just to and from school and wanted to make it a real challenge.
