We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

On Sunday 17th October we will be taking part in Cancer Research UK's Run 10K event at Victoria Park, Southport.

Please sponsor us what you can, money raised will help fund the charity's world-class research work to find out how to prevent, diagnose and treat different kinds of cancer.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now!

Together we will beat cancer.

Like many supporters of Cancer Research UK our team members have personal reasons for running:

Darren Christopher Graham 11/10/79- 10/02/10

My brother Darren was the wisest man I have ever met . A talented musician who ran his own successful window cleaning business, he was well loved and respected by everyone whose lives he touched.

He lost his short battle with lung cancer in February of this year and I have decided to do this run in memory of him. He would have been rather shocked and amused if he knew I was attempting a 10k run as the only thing I can usually run is a bath .

For anyone sponsoring me - please refer in your message x

Laura Graham
