Hello!

If you don't already know, I am going to Kenya this summer with KOP (Kenyan Orphan Project). This charity was set up about 7 years ago by medical students and is now fully fledged and working with children in Kenya, particularly those orphaned as a result of HIV/AIDS. Many of these become 'street children', are under threat from the police and have no access to any basic living amenities.

KOP has opened feeding centres, primary schools, surgeries and worked with orphanages and hospitals. The beauty of KOP is that it works at a grass roots level, with the children and families affected.

When I go out in July/ August I will be helping a team to rebuild a primary school in the Kisumu region of western Kenya. I need to raise £750 for the charity before I go- and would greatly appreciate any donations however small on here
