Story
I am participating in the India Trek to raise funds for the benefit of ChildLine, a service provided by the NSPCC, registered charity number 216401 and SC037717. I have guaranteed to raise at least £2500 a share of which will be used to pay the costs of my flight and accomodation.
ChildLine is the 's free, 24-hour helpline for children in distress or danger. Trained volunteer counsellors comfort, advice and protect children and young people who may feel they have nowhere else to turn.
Almost 1,400 volunteers provide a counselling service, supervised by a team of professional supervisors and managers. Every day around 4,500 children call ChildLine, but lack of funds means that only 2,500 of them will get through to our counsellors for comfort, advice and protection.
All donations highly appreciated and will go a long way to helping ChildLine.
