I have lived in the UK for almost 6 years, and the biggest thing that I have learnt has been, how kind and giving you Brits are when it comes to charity!
This has inspired me so much that I have even carried out a few of my own fundraisers! With "Football competitions" and "skydiving", I have already raised more than £4,000 over the last few years, which went to a charity called Maggie's Cancer Support.

This time however, I have decided to raise money for another charity which is very close to my HEART. The reason for this is my Grandpa!
Over the last year, his heart has been getting weaker and even after many operations, it has left him with just under 20% of heart function. My grandpa is my Hero and to see him like this, breaks my heart.

There are three things that my Grandpa and I have in common:
- Ambition;
- Stubbornness; and
- A passion for cycling!

I thought to myself that I can use all of these together and make my Opi proud!

Here is our plan:
In September, my boyfriend Jon and I will cycle 1500km from Brighton,UK to Munich,DE.
We will spend every night in a tent and try to collect as many donations as we can.

Heart Disease is responsible for 82,000 deaths in the UK each year, an average of 224 people each day. Please, let us fight this together!
