RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

During the early hours of 3rd of February the racing yacht Hooligan V capsized off Prawle Point, Devon . For reasons not yet known Hooligan had lost its keel.  In the tragic drama that unfolded one crew lost his life and four were saved.

The crew and friends of Hooligan V would like to show our appreciation of the emergency services that took part in the rescue, search and recovery.

To this end we have created this site to raise money for the RLNI.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
