We fund AADC medical & scientific research to improve the lives of our sick children

Story

A little bit about me...

My name is Jake and I am now 10 years old and have AADC deficiency, which is a very rare disease and it stops me doing lots of things, but I am one of the very lucky children with AADC because with the help of my cocktail of medication I can now walk for short distances and do lots of things I couldn't before.  My story is on the press link on our web site www.aadcresearch.org

We are trying to raise money to give to the scientists so that they will research my disease and try and find better ways of treating it and then maybe other children with AADC will be able to walk and talk like I can.

I am going to try and walk as far as I can, then I will need my pushchair and with the help of my Mum, Dad and brothers, Charlie and Ben we can finish the 6-miles.

The picutre is me with Gabrielle, she is our Patron and supports all that we do and has been wonderful.  She will be coming again this year so if you join our walk you can meet her too!

Let my Mum know if you would like to come on my walk with me by visiting our web site's fundraising page and finding out how you can.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and sponsoring me. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

P.S.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The AADC Research Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
