Story

On 12th May I start my walk for Isabel Hospice, aiming to do 186 miles of coastal path in less than three weeks. A big challenge for me, not just because of the distance and the terrain, but also because apart from a few days at the beginning when my brother David and his friend are keeping me company, I shall be walking entirely alone - a new experience for me!

I've worked as a patient volunteer for Isabel Hospice for nine years and in recent years have also been a trustee. Its a privilege to play a small part in providing wonderful services to patients and their families, but also in rising to the challenges the Hospice faces in finding sufficient funds to maintain and develop its work in these recession hit times. This year the Hospice celebrates its 30th Anniversary and seems an ideal time to take some time out to make a contribution.

I will therefore be very grateful for any donation you might like to make - however small. Many thanks for reading this and your help.
