Story

Maurice Jay will once again be living in the window of Debenhams at Castlecourt for 105.8 hours to raise as much money as possible for the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice.

During the five days of our 2009 event, we raised over £47,000, and this year with your help, we'd like to better that.

Maurice will be in the window from Tuesday May 11th at 6am, until Saturday May 15th at 3.50pm, when we will be marking his exit with a VERY special event!!

This year’s event theme, ‘Calling all Heroes’ hopes to capture the imagination of the public and invites you to be heroic in your fundraising efforts.

During his time in the window MJ will be encouraging everyone, young and old, to give a superpower helping hand to celebrate Children’s Hospice Week....

Maurice says :

"After receiving so many donations last year and having such a great time with all my guests and visitors, we wanted to do more.  This year’s theme is ‘Calling all heroes’ and it will create a platform to generate lots of money, fun and wacky events during the challenge.  The real heroes are the nurses, children and families, and of course the people who hand over their hard earned cash for this very worthy cause”.
