I'm planning to run my 1st marathon on May 3rd in honor of my sister Kara.
Having seen her squeeze every drop out of life until the very end, Kara is an inspiration to us all, and leaves behind 2 beautiful twin daughters Elodie & Natasha, or is it Natasha & Elodie, and an incredible husband in Ben.
For me to run a marathon means conquering many fears, but this pales in comparison to the courage Kara showed over these past few years. She showed strength, determination and an open heart full of love for life and her family.
Only a few weeks before Kara died, The Willow Foundation gave Kara the greatest gift, making it possible for her to visit London with Ben and the girls to enjoy the sights and a West End show.
